OMG. I read a freaking wonderful/awesome/beautiful (insert all the praising words) story! It's so heartwrenching and beautiful at the same time. I just had to cry reading it. Damn it. I must had looked stupid. Argh.
Anyway. It reminds me of a show I've watched few years back. And that show is really awesome too :D Which is why i remembered it even after so long. The show 天外飞仙 also known as The Little Fairy. Not a realistic plot but nevertheless, fantastic. Okay. So the story I read had a similar plot. But the girl wasn't an fairy. She's an angel. Alright. Not much of a diff anyway. In the story, she's a really clumsy and forgetful angel, often making ALOT of mistakes. So as a punishment, she was banished to Earth to do a good deed. She fell from the sky(heaven supposedly) and landed on a highway road. But a car that was driving bang into her. And so they took her home. The owner of the car was a very arrogant and mean businessman. He wanted to pay the 'angel' for her injuries. She refused. Since she didnt know what money is for. The businessman thought she wanted to sue him so he kept her, wanting to compensate her. And also to prevent her from telling the media about the accident, he had a reputation to keep. (skipping all the details) The 'angel's' mission is to make someone give out his heart and then she can return to heaven. And so, she did all sort of stupid things that drove the businessman insane just to make him give out his heart. Unexpectedly, they fell in love. That businessman changed and became a better person. The angel's friend knew what was happening and tried to convinced the angel to leave. But plan failed thousands of times. And so, on christmas night, the businessman finally confessed. And there was a quote ''when the bell rings,the angel gets its wings'' So when he confessed, ringing of bells could ne heard from a nearby church. And she disappeared. (Note: he didnt believe she's an angel when she tried telling him) And so, the angel returned to heaven. Cried nonstop. The businessman was lost and depressed. He did good deeds everyday hoping that she will return. Then one day, the day after christmas end, he walked passed a person, wearing thick clothing and a hood, bringing a bell and calling out for donations. He donated his gold watch, the thing that meant most to him, it was his first gift to himself. The person ringing the bell stopped. The businessman mumbled ''you cant stop ringing the bell..But continue ringing it..'' Sighing, he continued. "When the bell rings.."
The person continued it for him, "the angel gets its wings'' She's back. REUNION. yay. Happy ending for this story. The show didnt have a happy ending, think that was the only major diff. But they did reunite after dno how many thousands of years later, in modern society. Well, the ending for that was kinda disappointing. Anyway, wow. Cliche but I like :)
