After reading the analysis for MINE music video, I feel so creeped out by the way everything's being portrayed yet at the same time, it makes me wonder exactly what this person has gone through to be so furious and protective of his world. 
Now, it's still rock. But it's sad rock. Not angry rock.
I gave me a feeling that he cried for help, but he wasn't saved. So he saved himself and couldn't help but turn a little darker.
